When it comes to casino games, there are thousands upon thousands for players to choose from, with a large chunk of them all being fairly similar and thus rather forgettable. With this in mind, we’d like to introduce you to a game mechanic called Connect & Collect that’s currently being utilized by two of Bragg’s in-house studios, which are Atomic Slot Lab and Wild Streak Gaming. This game mechanic was developed and subsequently implemented into more than a handful of slot titles to help them stand out by introducing players to a fun new concept that makes playing slots more enjoyable than ever before.

What exactly is Connect & Collect though? Well, we’re glad you asked! On games that utilize this mechanic, there are special Connect & Collect symbols that can land during any phase of the game on any of the game’s non-special positions. These symbols can land and align both horizontally and vertically, which creates a continuous chain beginning with the leftmost reel and ending when it reaches one of the game’s special positions on reels 3 and/or 6.

On reel 3, there are 2 special positions, which are the top and bottom positions on the reel. On reel 6, all positions on the reel are designated as special positions. Once the chain reaches a special position, the player will be awarded the bonus that’s associated with that position. Generally speaking, the bonuses associated with the special positions on reel 3 are considered to be minor or mid-tier bonuses, while the bonuses associated with special positions on reel 6 are considered to be major bonuses.

The types of bonuses that can be awarded include added wilds, respins, free games, prize credits, and even jackpots. These are often in addition to the game’s traditional bonuses, which give players multiple ways to trigger the game’s best features.

As of this writing, the Connect & Collect mechanic has been integrated into 6 slot games, with 3 each from Atomic Slot Lab and Wild Streak Gaming.
